The end of a core of the conic dielectric antenna calculated earlier with the greatest diameter of cross section of 15,38 mm. also will determine approximately diameter of cross section of a round wave guide.
The wave possessing in a wave guide of given sizes and and b the smallest critical frequency is called the main wave. All other waves are called as waves of the highest types. From formulas ((follows that at a> b the main wave will be H1 wave
Therefore, in the chosen wave guide in the single-mode mode at the set frequency of 11 GHz will be extends with H10 wave, and other types of waves at this frequency in a rectangular wave guide will not extend.
During course works the two-mirror parabolic antenna according to Kassegren's scheme was designed and the main calculations of the parameters characterizing operation of the antenna are made, directional patterns of all antenna and an irradiator, i.e. the rod conic dielectric antenna are constructed.
In drawing: e – eccentricity of a hyperbolic mirror; 0 – a corner of a raskryv of a big mirror (or a paraboloid; 0 – a point of view on a small mirror (or a corner of a raskryv equivalent a paraboloid; f – focal length of a big mirror (or paraboloid; fe – focal length of an equivalent paraboloid; ‑ distance before the second focus of a hyperboloid; ‑ distance before the first focus of a hyperboloid; D – diameter of a raskryv of a big mirror (or paraboloid; d – diameter of a raskryv of a small mirror (or hyperboloid.
Also during course design was better material of course microwave oven of the device and antenna is studied and fixed and valuable practical experience by calculation of key parameters of the two-mirror antenna for Kassegren's scheme is got.
In the course of design it was succeeded to realize the antenna-feeder device satisfying to basic data of an academic year project namely to ensure functioning of the two-mirror antenna on Kassegren's scheme at a frequency of 11 GHz with DN width on the level of-3 dB in 1,5 degrees with the level of lateral petals no more than-18,3 dB, in coefficient of strengthening of 41 dB and in efficiency of a surface of PILES equal 0,70 All the main calculated data are available in drawing in the appendix
